PITTSBORO
CHRISTIAN
VILLAGE

Pittsboro Christian Village is a labor of love for us. A community or retired Christians. Receiving care and caring as they take care of each other. This is the way communities are supposed to work. And we built a brand that showcases that.

Pittsboro Christian Village, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit continuing care retirement community, has been home to generations of retired missionaries, full-time Christian workers, and Christians who want to live and serve in a community of like-minded believers. While providing many of the amenities of other retirement communities, the village is truly differentiated by the unique Christian culture, an opportunity to continue to minister into the senior years, and the fully-functioning church right on the grounds.

CONTINUING CARE ALL THE WAY HOME.

Pittsboro Christian Village is a sincere, slightly feminine brand. Gibbons | Peck selected an "orchard" theme, which yields an organic color palette, classic typography, and a soft, human photography style.

For most of its life, the village was fully occupied, with a waiting list. Unprecedented vacancies due to the economic downturn drove the need for a more visible, intentional brand.

The most direct products of this branding effort are new primary collateral pieces (a selling brochure and a development brochure), a web site, and a video. However, the brand's direction has resulted in substantial interior design efforts and movement toward formalizing brand actions.
