A regional community bank wanted to turn their annual report into something more than a financial statement.

Gibbons Peck had the privilege of concepting, designing, writing, and producing several annual reports for The Palmetto Bank. Each year, we set out to create a marketing piece that promoted the bank's successful growth and marketing savvy to their shareholders and customers.


We developed a color palette, typography, and page-design standards to create consistency across multiple quarters and years. So no matter which year, you know you're looking at a Palmetto Bank annual report.

These annual reports announced to the region the strengths of the bank which - though small compared to national financial institutions - has grown to a billion-dollar institution, branching out into new communities and introducing new products and services.

They also positioned the bank as an integral part of the community, based on its cultural values and strategic vision. The bank's growth is tied directly to the community's growth.

Since the annual report was associated with an annual shareholders meeting, we suggested that much of the same content could be used to produce a video, which would showcase the bank's performance for shareholders.

During a historic run of profits and growth, both the reports and the videos became powerful tools for building corporate relationships. These annual reports have received a Best Of The Best award and several Certificates of Excellence during the annual ABA Marketing Network Advertising Awards Competition in the seven years in a row.
