Anne grew up on the side of a mountain in Asheville, NC, the middle child in a family of inventors, Bible scholars, artists, and entrepreneurs. She moved to Greenville, SC to study art at Bob Jones University, where she earned a bachelors degree in art education and an MFA. And she stayed in Upstate South Carolina and developed a multiple-decade career as an art director, creative director, and agency executive. In 1994, she joined with writer James Gibbons (to whom she is now married) to form the agency now known as Gibbons Peck.
Over the past 25 years, Anne's work has been characterized by a keen focus on the elements that make a brand successful. She has been instrumental in development and management of key strategic processes at Gibbons Peck, including the branding, creative strategy, client management, and social media systems. Visually, her art direction provides the framework for more than 25 brands, in industries as diverse as banks, retailers, restaurants, performing arts venues, publishing, software, and non-profits.
Engaging:
Work hard. Play hard. Eat right. Stay healthy. Restore, recycle, repurpose. (i'm becoming my father.)
True:
Endure to the end...even if it looks like there's no end.

better to fail fast and know your coordinates, than to wander around in
the murky mire of miscommunication. In the void of communication, there
dwells a host of evils.
